Welcome to ROC'N Ride. If you've ever taken a trip on an existing rideshare, you've probably noticed there is room for improvement. ROC'N Ride was founded by Linden J. Overhiser, born and raised in the Rochester, NY area. Linden has driven rideshare for many years and witnessed firsthand the inadequacies that plague the industry. Linden thought a few changes could make ridesharing a more affordable and enjoyable experience - and an idea was conceived.
Linden wanted to incorporate his Rochester roots into the company name while still making it possible for the business to be expandable to the multi-market level. With this idea in mind, "ROC" 'N Ride was born.

Now that Linden had a name and a goal, he was on his way to molding this concept into something. As he tested out new policies, functions and ideas in the market, it became more evident to him that the industry had a real need for an improved system. As demand grew, Linden knew he had a functional business plan that just needed execution.
